How to size a co-ord set
A co-ord set is two pieces sold as one size, so the size has to work for your top half and your bottom half at the same time. A few minutes with a tape measure saves a return.
1. Measure a piece you already love
Lay a jumper or hoodie that fits you well flat on a table. Measure straight across the chest, just under the arms, and double it. That is your bust or chest measurement. Then lay a pair of joggers or trousers flat and measure across the waistband, and double it.
2. Compare with the garment measurements
Most LUNEVAR sets show a garment measurements table on the product page. These are the measurements of the clothes, not of a body, so compare them with the piece you measured in step 1, not with your own chest or waist.
- If your favourite hoodie measures 112 cm around the chest and the set lists 110 cm and 116 cm, the 116 cm size will feel closest to what you already wear.
- Stretch fabrics and elastic waists give a little, so a difference of 2 to 3 cm is fine.
3. Decide which half matters more
If your top and bottom fall in different sizes, size for the piece with less give. For knit sets with elastic waistbands, that is usually the top. For tailored sets with a fixed waist, it is usually the trousers.
4. Check the fit note
Some styles are cut small, about one to two sizes below US and EU sizing. When that applies, the product page says so in a fit note. If you are between sizes on one of these, choose the larger size.
5. Still unsure?
Read our size guide or send us your measurements and the product link, and we will suggest a size.
